Tree Topping

Also known as hat racking, heading, rounding over, and tipping, tree topping involves removing the entire top of a tree, or large branches and trunks from the top of a tree. The purpose of topping is to prevent a tree from growing too tall or from growing in a potentially dangerous direction.

If done wrong, topping can be detrimental to the health of your tree. That’s why it’s a job best left to professionals who know the physiology of the tree and can do so while maintaining the integrity and health of your tree. Evergreen Tree Service has the knowledge and experience to safely do the job, and can do so at an affordable rate.
